JUVOTEK JURNAL (JuVoTek) recognizes the importance of long-term preservation, continued accessibility, and discoverability of scholarly publications. The journal therefore maintains an archiving policy designed to preserve its published scholarly content and facilitate continued access to the academic record.

1. DIGITAL ARCHIVING

JuVoTek maintains a digital archive of all published articles and associated bibliographic metadata through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

The journal's digital archive includes, where applicable:

  • published article full-text files;
  • article metadata;
  • article abstracts;
  • author information;
  • keywords;
  • publication dates;
  • volume and issue information;
  • Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs);
  • references and citation information; and
  • other publication-related metadata.

The journal makes reasonable efforts to ensure that published content remains available through its official website and OJS platform.

2. OPEN JOURNAL SYSTEMS (OJS) ARCHIVING

JuVoTek uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) as its primary journal publishing and content-management platform.

Published articles are retained in the journal's OJS archive and remain available through the official JuVoTek website after publication.

The journal aims to maintain stable URLs, persistent article metadata, and DOI identifiers to support long-term discoverability and citation of published research.

3. INDONESIA ONESEARCH (IOS)

JuVoTek supports the dissemination and discoverability of its scholarly publications through national library and scholarly information services, including Indonesia OneSearch (IOS), an initiative of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia / Perpusnas RI).

Indonesia OneSearch functions as a national-scale discovery service that facilitates the discovery and access of information resources from participating libraries, repositories, and other information institutions in Indonesia.

Where JuVoTek metadata and/or article records are harvested or indexed by Indonesia OneSearch, users may discover the journal's scholarly content through the IOS platform and, where applicable, access the original content through the official JuVoTek website.

The journal considers Indonesia OneSearch an important component of its national scholarly discoverability and information-access strategy.

4. AUTHOR SELF-ARCHIVING

Authors are permitted and encouraged to preserve and disseminate their published articles through legitimate scholarly repositories and academic platforms, subject to the terms of the journal's applicable Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.

Authors may deposit the published version of their article, including the Version of Record, in:

  • institutional repositories;
  • subject repositories;
  • national repositories;
  • university digital libraries;
  • personal academic websites;
  • researcher profiles; and
  • other legitimate scholarly dissemination platforms.

When depositing or sharing an article, authors are encouraged to preserve the original citation information and DOI and to provide a link to the official JuVoTek publication whenever possible.

5. METADATA PRESERVATION

JuVoTek seeks to preserve the bibliographic metadata associated with each published article.

Preserved metadata may include:

  • article title;
  • author names;
  • author affiliations;
  • ORCID identifiers, where provided;
  • abstract;
  • keywords;
  • publication date;
  • volume, issue, and page or article identifiers;
  • DOI;
  • references; and
  • licensing and copyright information.

Preservation of accurate metadata supports article discoverability, interoperability, indexing, citation tracking, and long-term identification of the scholarly record.

6. DOI AND PERSISTENT IDENTIFICATION

Each article published by JuVoTek is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), where applicable, to provide a persistent and unique identifier for the published scholarly record.

Authors and readers are encouraged to use the DOI when citing, sharing, archiving, or linking to published articles.

In the event of website restructuring, migration, or changes to the journal's OJS installation, the journal will make reasonable efforts to preserve article identifiers, metadata, DOI information, and access to the published scholarly record.

7. WEBSITE AND PLATFORM MIGRATION

If JuVoTek migrates its website, hosting environment, domain, or OJS installation, the editorial and publishing team will make reasonable efforts to preserve:

  • published full-text articles;
  • article metadata;
  • DOIs;
  • citation information;
  • volume and issue records;
  • author information; and
  • public access to the journal archive.

Where technically feasible, redirects or equivalent mechanisms may be implemented to minimize disruption to previously published URLs.

8. BACKUP AND DATA SECURITY

The journal and its publisher make reasonable efforts to maintain backups of journal content and essential publishing data.

Backup procedures may include copies of:

  • published article files;
  • OJS database information;
  • article metadata;
  • journal configuration data; and
  • other information necessary to maintain the scholarly record.

Backup and recovery procedures are intended to reduce the risk of permanent loss of published content resulting from technical failure, hosting disruption, accidental deletion, or other unforeseen events.

9. LONG-TERM ACCESS

JuVoTek is committed to maintaining continued access to its published scholarly content for the long term.

The journal's preservation strategy is based on maintaining the official OJS archive, preserving article metadata and DOI information, supporting repository and discovery services, and maintaining appropriate digital backups.

The journal will seek to strengthen its digital preservation infrastructure and may adopt additional recognized long-term preservation services or repository systems as they become available and appropriate for the journal.

10. ACCESS TO ARCHIVED CONTENT

Published articles remain publicly accessible through the official JuVoTek website unless access is temporarily interrupted due to technical maintenance, migration, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the journal.

Where an article has been corrected, retracted, or otherwise subject to a post-publication editorial notice, the original scholarly record will be maintained in accordance with the journal's Corrections and Retractions Policy.

Retractions do not normally result in the complete removal of the article from the scholarly record. Instead, the article is appropriately identified as retracted and linked to the corresponding retraction notice.

11. ROLE OF INDONESIA ONESEARCH

Indonesia OneSearch is recognized by JuVoTek as an important national discovery and information-access service.

The journal supports the availability of its metadata and scholarly records through appropriate national information and repository infrastructures, including Indonesia OneSearch, where harvesting or integration is available.

Availability, synchronization, indexing, or harvesting of JuVoTek records in Indonesia OneSearch may depend on the technical configuration, metadata harvesting mechanisms, and policies of the participating systems.

Therefore, inclusion or availability of a particular article or metadata record in Indonesia OneSearch should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every article will be continuously indexed or displayed by the service.

12. ARCHIVING RESPONSIBILITY

The Editor-in-Chief, editorial team, and publisher share responsibility for maintaining the continuity and integrity of the journal's published archive.

The journal will make reasonable efforts to ensure that changes in editorial management, publishing personnel, hosting arrangements, or technical infrastructure do not result in unnecessary loss of published scholarly content.

13. POLICY STATEMENT

JuVoTek is committed to preserving its published scholarly record and maintaining long-term access to published articles through its OJS archive, digital backups, persistent DOI identification, author self-archiving, and national scholarly discovery infrastructure, including Indonesia OneSearch (Perpusnas RI).

The journal will continuously improve its digital preservation and archiving practices to support the accessibility, integrity, discoverability, and continuity of the scholarly record.
